Saxman Lenny Price to perform at Pelican Club
DEARBORN, MI -- Midshipman Records artist
Lenny Price will perform an evening of his trademark blend of jazz, pop
and urban music on Friday, October 19, 2001 at the Pelican Club in
Dearborn. The club is located at 14333 Ford Rd (on the eastbound
side between Greenfield & Schaefer). The appearance is to support
his current release, From My Heart, and to test new songs for his
forthcoming CD, When Tomorrow Comes.
Price, who plays saxophone, wind
synthesizer, keyboards and sings, currently tours with legendary
guitarist Earl Klugh and teaches jazz improvisation at Washtenaw
Community College in Ann Arbor, MI.
Also on the bill are Jake Reichbart (2001
Detroit Music Awards finalist) on guitar and Charles Scales (1995
Detroit Music Award winner) on keyboards.
There will be two shows at 9:30PM and
11:30PM. The public is invited to attend. Admission to the
concert is free.
