Saxman Lenny Price to perform at Pelican Club

DEARBORN, MI -- Midshipman Records artist Lenny Price will perform an evening of his trademark blend of jazz, pop and urban music on Friday, October 19, 2001 at the Pelican Club in Dearborn.  The club is located at 14333 Ford Rd (on the eastbound side between Greenfield & Schaefer).  The appearance is to support his current release, From My Heart, and to test new songs for his forthcoming CD, When Tomorrow Comes.

Price, who plays saxophone, wind synthesizer, keyboards and sings, currently tours with legendary guitarist Earl Klugh and teaches jazz improvisation at Washtenaw Community College in Ann Arbor, MI.

Also on the bill are Jake Reichbart (2001 Detroit Music Awards finalist) on guitar and Charles Scales (1995 Detroit Music Award winner) on keyboards.

There will be two shows at 9:30PM and 11:30PM.  The public is invited to attend.  Admission to the concert is free.
