There is one hometown sound that visitors and residents will definitely recognize and enjoy -- the captivating sounds of Lenny Price's sax.

Price, an Inkster native, is reaching national audiences with his current release, From My Heart.

Since his high school days at Inkster, Lenny has captured the hearts of music lovers.

And he's coming home.

The 29-year-old Price has returned home to perform for a good reason.

"After all of her adventures in the land of Oz," Price says, "Dorothy found that the things which were most important to her were back home in Kansas.  Likewise, I began my career here, in Inkster, and I love performing before the hometown audiences."

As one of the star performers during the three-day Fun Fest festival, Price will be center stage at 8:30 PM Friday.  He will also be on stage between 3 to 4 PM Saturday.

Price made his national recording debut with From My Heart and has When Tomorrow Comes ready to go.

Price says he intends to maintain his Inkster ties because, he says, "there really isn't any place like home."
